Ed Jessup, President

Ed Jessup’s experience in the knife industry spans over three decades, yet his involvement with Case started at a much younger age.  Ed’s father, E.L “Shine” Jessup, dedicated over 40 years of his life to Case by sharing his sales talents in the field. Ed grew up with Case, and as a result he made the decision to further his career by accepting a district field manager position with W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company in 1977. Over the past 38 years (and counting), Ed has carried on the Jessup legacy by dedicating his time and talents to the continued growth of this 126-year-old brand.

Originally, Ed was assigned a territory consisting of 36 counties in East Tennessee, which later expanded to three states. As his involvement with Case grew, Ed’s territory increased to 13 states. By 1998, Ed was charged with leading the marketing and sales division.

Over the past 17 years, Ed has been responsible for growing the demand of Case’s products by increasing sales and driving the overall marketing development strategy.  He has been instrumental in positioning Case as the leader in pocket cutlery. Most notably, Ed was influential in the development and launch of the Making a Case for America campaign.
